Make room for a practice that fits your actual life. This planner helps you choose one small ritual, decide when to do it, and notice what you learn. Set aside ten minutes to make your plan, then try it for one week.

Use a notebook or copy the prompts into your notes app. Your answers are for you; you do not need to submit or share them.

1. Choose what matters this week

Complete this sentence: I want to bring more ______ into my everyday life. Choose a quality you can practice, such as attention, patience, curiosity, kindness or consistency.

Make it concrete: Where would this quality be useful? Name one ordinary moment: opening your inbox, eating lunch, coming home, or preparing for sleep.

My quality: ______. The everyday moment where I want to practice it: ______.

2. Pick one small practice

Choose one option for this week. You can change it after you have tried it.

Attention: Put your phone aside for two minutes. Notice three things you can see and three sounds around you. Let your breathing stay natural.

Reflection: Write three lines: What am I noticing? What matters right now? What is one useful next step?

Kindness: Pause before one conversation. Ask yourself, How can I listen carefully here? Let the other person finish before you respond.

Gratitude: Name one specific thing you appreciated today and why it mattered. Ordinary things count; you do not have to make a difficult day sound positive.

My chosen practice: ______. I will spend ______ minutes on it.

3. Give your practice a place in the day

Attach the practice to something you already do. After I ______, I will ______ for two minutes at/in ______.

Example: After I put my breakfast plate away, I will write three reflection lines at the kitchen table.

Make starting easier: leave a notebook where you will see it, put a short reminder beside your kettle, or set one gentle reminder. Choose just one cue.

My cue: ______. What I will prepare: ______.

4. Make a smaller version for busy days

A practice can be brief without being meaningless. Decide on a version that takes about twenty seconds: notice one sound, write one honest sentence, or pause before answering.

On a busy day, I will simply ______.

If I miss a day, I will return at my next usual cue. I do not need to catch up or restart the week.

5. Keep a simple record

At the end of each day, note whether you tried the practice and one thing you noticed. Record the experience rather than grading yourself.

Day 1 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 2 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 3 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 4 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 5 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 6 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

Day 7 — Tried it / not today: ______. What I noticed: ______.

6. Review and adjust

After one week, answer: Which part was easiest to begin? What got in the way? When did the practice feel useful? What would make it fit my life better?

For next week, choose one: keep it as it is, shorten it, move it to a different moment, or try another practice.

My next small adjustment: ______.

Your personal practice card

This week I am practicing ______. After ______, I will ______ for ______ minutes. On a busy day, I will ______. I will review what I noticed on ______.

Example: This week I am practicing attention. After lunch, I will put my phone aside and notice the room for two minutes. On a busy day, I will notice one sound. I will review what I noticed on Sunday.
